Energy and enthusiasm, purpose and vision: the Du Toits of Kloovenburg have these by the barrelful – and certainly enough to have achieved the high standards they’ve set for their wines, and to maintain a proud family tradition through decades to come.

Kloovenburg stretches along the lower contours of the Kasteelberg, where the northeasterly slopes have proven ideal for Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon and the southwesterly and easterly slopes favour Chardonnay. Owner and winemaker Pieter du Toit has selected the best grapes for the farm’s exclusive range of wines. A new addition to the range is the Kloovenburg White From Red Brut, a sparkling wine made from 100% Shiraz grapes.

The Kloovenburg Christmas Market in December is a good way to experience everything this estate offers, and more. A large variety of local produce from the valley is on offer, including beautifully packaged gift boxes and delicious homemade Christmas cakes.

The Kloovenburg Pastorie Guesthouse has recently been opened in a restored and transformed historic property.
Enjoy the breathtaking views while sitting outside under the oak trees.

Taste this outstanding estate’s award-winning wines, olives and cold-pressed olive oil in the newly renovated tasting room. Additionally, the Kloovenburg Pastorie is open every Sunday from 10:30 for wine tastings.
